Minakami Nature Positive Project Featured as a Model Case for "The Potential of Economic Valuation of Natural Capital" by the Ministry of the Environment

To achieve Nature Positive, the Nature Conservation Society of Japan (NACS-J) signed a 10-year partnership agreement with Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. and Minakami Town in Gunma Prefecture on February 27, 2023. The activities under this agreement are carried out as the "Minakami Nature Positive Project" (Minakami NPPJ).

The Ministry of the Environment has now featured Minakami NPPJ as a model case in its report, "The Potential of Economic Valuation of Natural Capital: The Value of Efforts Contributing to Water Positive*."
